Hirji has been a leading CHRO, bringing deep experience in Talent and Culture and is a recognized leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)

TORONTO, ON August 24, 2022 — Knockri, an asynchronous interview assessment tool that creates a shortlist of diverse candidates and reduces time and cost to hire, announced that Zabeen Hirji joined as a Senior Advisor. Hirji is a former Chief Human Resources Officer for Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Canada’s largest bank — and a global Top 15 bank — covering 80,000 employees in 40 countries. Her current roles include Executive Advisor, Future of Work, Deloitte Canada, and Executive-in-Residence, Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University.

Hirji brings a wealth of additional DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) experience across both public and private sectors, including as a member of the External Advisory Group on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at the UK Research and Innovation Council, and on the Governing Council at the University of Toronto. She is the past Chair of CivicAction, a leading civic engagement organization with a track record of building more diverse leadership in the Greater Toronto Area, and was also Co-Chair of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council.

“Zabeen is a trusted leader by some of the world’s largest companies on the future of work, diversity, equity, inclusion, and HR transformation,” says Knockri Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Jahanzaib Ansari. “We’re thrilled to bring her years of expertise to our customers and partners as we continue to aggressively scale.”
